New England’s Leading IVF Practice to Open New Rhode Island Clinic

Reproductive Science Center to hold open house at its new Providence fertility location

PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND – In response to a growing demand from patients and referring physicians alike, Reproductive Science Center (RSC) of New England announces the relocation of its Providence office now at 134 Thurbers Ave, Suite 207.

The new facility will offer diagnostic as well as other fertility services, including patient monitoring during ovulation induction. In vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures, which include egg retrievals, embryo transfers and embryo cryopreservation, will continue to be performed at RSC’s centrally located Lexington, Massachusetts office.

“The new Providence office is twice the size of our old office,” said Anne Wold, M.D., reproductive endocrinologist and RSC’s primary physician in Rhode Island. “Our goal is to help ease the patient’s experience to parenthood and having outstanding facilities is critical to a successful IVF program.”

The larger facility is part of a strategy to bring the practice’s services closer to fast-growing areas where patients work and live. RSC also has offices in eight other locations in Massachusetts including: Lexington, Braintree, Cambridge, Gardner, Milford, Peabody, and Westboro in addition to an office in Bedford, New Hampshire.

An open house has been scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Providence office on September 20, 2007, allowing patients to tour the new facility and speak with staff.

The clinic will stay open six days a week for cycle monitoring and five days a week for patient consultants. Dr. Wold will begin taking appointments in September, which can be scheduled by calling 1.800.858.4832.  Normal clinic hours are 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Additional information about RSC can be found on their Web site: www.RSCNewEngland.com.
