Success Rates RSC Success Rates
Our superior pregnancy rates are one reason RSC is nationally recognized, along with a state-of-the-art facility. Pregnancy rates for all ART programs in the US are available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) www.cdc.gov. Because there are many ways to measure and compare success, published success rates for assisted reproductive technologies can often be misunderstood and misleading. Clearly, the most important measure of success is the percentage of couples who initiate treatment and ultimately take home a baby. However, because there are three stages to an ART treatment, and not every couple reaches every stage of treatment, success can be measured in three different ways.
Note: A clinical pregnancy is defined as the presence of one or more gestational sacs (with a beating heart) in the woman's uterus, confirmed by ultrasound examination. Keep in mind, however, that while most ART providers report success rates based on clinical pregnancy, these statistics do not accurately reflect the number of women who ultimately take home a baby. A certain number of patients who achieve pregnancy have a miscarriage, for example. Clinical Quality Improvement ProgramSince 1995, we have been working as a multidisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to continuously improve our pregnancy rates. Our clinical pregnancy rates per transfer since 2000 have been consistently above 50 percent.
