Carol A. Anania, MD

Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist

Dr. Carol Anania is a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist, and a specialist in reproductive surgery. She is the Director of Reproductive Endocrinology at the Lahey Clinic , and an Assistant Clinical Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tufts University School of Medicine.

A graduate of Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Anania also completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at that institution. She finished a reproductive endocrinology fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, as well as a Society of Reproductive Surgeons fellowship at the Woman's Hospital of Houston, Texas, in 1992.

Dr. Anania has published in the area of fibroids and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Her other areas of special interest include reproductive surgery and endometriosis.

A fellow and diplomate of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Anania is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
