Reproductive endocrinologist Carla Di Girolamo, MD earned her medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Women and Infants’ Hospital in Providence, R.I. Dr. DiGirolamo is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and completed her fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Massachusetts General Hospital.
While attending medical school, she also earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in molecular pathology from MCP-Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has published extensively in the area of adult stem cell research and, more recently, has published on the mechanisms surrounding embryo implantation.
Dr. DiGirolamo’s clinical interests include the treatment of infertility using assisted reproductive technologies, recurrent pregnancy loss, and the molecular events surrounding embryo implantation. Dr. DiGirolamo sees patients in the Westborough, Milford and Lexington offices.
