The Reproductive Science Center (RSC) of New England and Lowell General Hospital collaboratively provide fertility services at the Hospital's Outpatient Services campus in North Chelmsford. In joining together, Dr. Ania Kowalik, board-certified reproductive endocrinologist for RSC, explains that "patient convenience is key in infertility treatments, due to the demands of monitoring patients medically, as often as daily." (Diagnostic, laboratory and monitoring services are available to fertility patients at the Hospital's main campus in Lowell, IVF procedures are provided at the RSC procedure center in nearby Lexington, MA). The partnership between Lowell General Hospital and the Reproductive Science Center ensures that couples in need of fertility treatment receive the highest-quality care close to home.
Dr. Kowalik, a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist, is the former Director of the IVF Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she provided patient care and also served as an associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology.
A graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Dr. Kowalik completed her training in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center.
